Csi Calendar Spring 2023 – The English Language Institute, or ELI for short, is part of the College of Staten Island/City University of New York (CUNY). ELI wants to share all information related to students and faculty, academic activities, ELI tours, events, collaborations, parties and more.
The English Language Center at Staten Island/CUNY will also offer English classes in St. Petersburg. St. George is only minutes away. George Ferry Terminal.

The Staten Island/CUNY English Language Center offers classes in English on a large campus and will also offer classes in the St. Louis area. George Ferry Terminal near St. George.
Fpdi Spring Semester Workshops Scheduled
St George's English program will offer two papers starting in June, 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm at various levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced).
The location will serve students and Manhattan commuters who live or work on the North Shore. Its convenient location allows travelers to reach the building on Stuyvesant Place just a short walk from the ferry terminal.
The program will offer low-cost monthly lessons in an interactive format, including reading, writing, grammar, listening, speaking and vocabulary lessons.

Beginning August 23, 2021, the English Language Center courses will again be offered at the college's Staten Island campus.
The City University of New York's (CUNY) College of Staten Island (CUNY) is slowly opening, and the English Language Center (ELI) will return to campus next fall, starting August 23.
College Of Staten Island Virtual Information
Students interested in learning English in an intensive program can take the on-campus ELI program next fall semester, which runs from August 23 to December 10. The 16-week program will include the same courses offered previously: reading, writing, grammar, speaking, TOEFL test preparation, and the TOEFL ITP test at the end of the program.
Classes will be held on the main Willowbrook campus, and students will have access to all services and activities offered during the fall semester. Students will enjoy the quiet surroundings of the College of Staten Island campus while visiting one of the world's most touristic destinations, Manhattan.
As of 2020, ELI has successfully delivered its robust English language program to affluent students in the United States and abroad, and will continue to offer its English as a Second Language (ESL) program online alongside the language. – One semester.
Sy 2022 2023 Schedule
Applications are open to any student inside or outside the United States. For those in other countries, they can apply for an F-1 student visa. This program is open to any student who lives on Staten Island near New York City or anyone who wants to experience life on Staten Island!

Our English program will follow all guidelines for a safe and healthy classroom environment, while enjoying CUNY's largest campus and requirements, 100% face-to-face. We miss campus life, but the students ELI is already working hard to welcome back to campus," commented ELI Director Gonzalo Villena.

The College of Staten Island's English Language Center celebrates International Education Week with languages from different countries. Students will showcase the best of their country in a live performance from November 16 to 19.
The English Language Institute (ELI) at Staten Island/City University of New York (CUNY) will celebrate International Education Week 2020 in various national languages from November 16 to November 19. Students will prepare their work in their intensive English as a Second Language program. ELI teacher Erika Anderson will guide the class on how to give a speech, how to speak in public, and how to use language appropriately in these types of speeches.

ELI Cultural Day is one of the most important events on campus this semester. However, now students have the opportunity to reach a larger audience when using Facebook. Organizing an ELI Culture Day during International Education Week 2020 will be a great opportunity to show what our students have been up to and how much they have learned in our online English courses. The English Language Center expects a large audience for this event.
The English Language Center has begun the Fall 2020 semester with students from around the world. They will spend a semester at the College of Staten Island with classmates from different countries.
Our teachers have been teaching online English courses since 2017 and have no problems teaching our current English courses.

The English Language Institute (ELI) at Staten Island ( ) / City University of New York (CUNY) opened the fall semester on August 24, 2020. He added that our teachers have been teaching online with other ELI partners for years, so they "have a lot of experience teaching online before distance classes became popular in these difficult times."
Before this outbreak, ELI was working with a partner on an online program that hosted more than 2,000 students each month. Our ELI instructors prepare classes focusing on pronunciation, conversation skills, and introduction to New York and American culture. Our teachers have been teaching online English courses since 2017 and have no problems teaching our current English courses.
Parenting Time Schedule
This fall, ELI welcomed students from different countries, making class more fun as students challenged themselves to speak English and learn about everyone's culture. The students are from Brazil, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Vietnam. Intensive English classes take 18 hours per week, covering different topics such as reading, writing, grammar, speaking and TOEFL test preparation. At the end of the semester, they will take the digital TOEFL ITP test, which is used to apply to any CUNY school degree.
ELI commends these students for their brave decision to study English during these difficult times of COVID-19. ELI wishes the College of Staten Island all the best this semester.

Csi Oklahoma State Championships
The College of Staten Island has an important partnership with VUS and is regularly invited to issue certificates to students who take official English language tests such as IELTS at VUS.
