The policies, procedures, and requirements in this document apply to students enrolled in a graduate program or graduate certificate and/or students seeking graduate work. Undergraduate students should address their undergraduate research even if they are working on a thesis. Eligibility for this first round of Aspen Awards is based on publicly available information. Nationally, 15 percent of public schools (150 of the nearly 1,000 public two-year schools evaluated for the award) are invited to apply—a full list can be found on the awards homepage.
