Disney World Busy Calendar 2023
Disney World Busy Calendar 2023 – When is the best time to visit Walt Disney World? The answer is that it depends. There are various factors that can affect crowding. Of course, it's always a great day to visit Walt Disney World, but some days are less crowded. Here are some examples of factors that affect crowding levels:
The holidays affect the Walt Disney World crowd. Public holidays, including long weekends (Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day), are busier than surrounding weeks, but do not have an adverse effect. Expect moderate to heavy crowds around Independence Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving, and in the weeks around Christmas and New Year's Eve, crowds are expected and the parks are closed due to capacity. If you're flexible with your itinerary, avoiding the above holidays will allow you to visit Walt Disney World at a less busy time!

There are several regional events taking place across the country that affect attendance at Walt Disney World. Mardi Gras is a holiday celebrated in most of the states of Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, three states within driving distance of Walt Disney World. The holiday falls on a different date between late January and early March each year, so with that in mind, some years are busier than others. Schools close in early November in New Jersey, and many head south for a warm weekend in sunny Florida for "Jersey Week." The effect on the crowd isn't drastic, but it's enough to make a difference. In the North East, the third week of February and April are school holiday periods which can affect crowded conditions. March is known as "Spring Break" which brings local and regional tourists to Walt Disney World.
Why Disney World Seems So Crowded Right Now
Disney World hosts many special events, festivals, contests and celebrations that attract visitors from near and far. In the fall, Epcot hosts the International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. All theme parks offer special entertainment during the holiday season, including the very merry Mickey's Christmas Party. In the winter months after the holidays, the Epcot Arts Festival leads into the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival in the spring. In addition to special entertainment, Disney hosts Disney events throughout the year. Runners from all over the world come to Walt Disney World to participate in bucket list worthy races. Race entries are sold at 25,000 runners. Disney also hosts on-site sporting events at ESPN's World Wide Sports, inviting cheerleaders and athletes to various competitions throughout the year. Please contact your Love the Mouse travel agent to discuss your options for attending or avoiding any of the above activities on Walt Disney World grounds.

Visitor patterns at Walt Disney World have changed dramatically in recent years. The introduction of tiered fares (from 2016) had a major impact on crowding patterns that continue today.

Some of the typically late hours were busier, and historically the busiest hours were much later. Most of the summer goes from a very busy time to a slightly busy time (even July 4th,

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the temporary closure of WDW in 2020, continues, with countless guests canceling trips due to travel restrictions and safety concerns. The WDW crowd is moving forward.
Disney World starts off January with a bang. New Year's Eve is probably the busiest day of the year at WDW. As the New Year's celebration fades, the EPCOT International Arts Festival (my personal favorite annual festival!) begins.

Planning A Walt Disney World Vacation In 2023
February is one of the best months to visit WDW. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, with smaller crowds throughout the month. Except for President's Day week, when the crowd is always there.
During spring break in March, the crowd level increases significantly. However, if you visit at other times of the year, the temperatures are warmer and you can enjoy the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.

Crowd) is a collection of special events during the month of April. With fewer crowds, warmer temperatures, and special seasonal events, April is a very pleasant month for WDW.

Memorial Day weekend marks the (unofficial) start of summer at WDW. In recent years, this holiday has been very busy. From the grand opening of Pandora – The World of Avatar to the recent launch of our "Incredible Summer" campaign with special offers, Memorial Day weekend is very exciting (but

) time. However, in early to mid-May, while EPCOT International Flower and Garden is still active, you can enjoy the nice pool weather with a quieter crowd.
Temperatures rise in June, but crowds (thankfully) vary from low to moderate. The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival runs throughout the month, and Gay Day is held at the beginning of the month (for four days in a row).

February 2023 At Disney World (crowd Calendar, Weather, Choosing Parks)
Spending the 4th of July at WDW (however crowded it is) is something every Disney fan should do at least once. It's absolutely amazing to see so many guests dressed in red, white and blue in a park decorated for a patriotic celebration. Dumped and ready to come back next year (trust me, I've been there)! But if you know me, I'm July 4th at WDW. You shouldn't be surprised to learn that the ultimate thing to see is to see The Voice of Liberty at its signature show of the year (several times a day) – outdoors around the American Gardens Theater. !
August is a very wet and dry month at WDW, and the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival kicks off at the end of the month. If extreme heat is tolerable, August is a good time to take advantage of this lower season. However, be sure to plan extra time to enjoy the resort's pools.

Having experienced incredibly hot Septembers at WDW for the past few years, I have a (personal) theory that September is the hottest time to visit WDW (especially the first of the month). . Crowd levels are almost as high as the Labor Day weekend temperatures! Labor Day has become a popular holiday to visit WDW, but the crowds tend to disperse after that busy weekend. Also, in September, Halloween season is in full swing!

Time to visit WDW! Congestion varies greatly from month to month (it's important to refer to the busy calendar when planning your trip). Along with the many Halloween festivals in October, the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival runs for a month.

The holiday season at WDW (right after Halloween) begins in November and quickly transitions from full pumpkin and leaf decorations throughout the parks and resorts to Christmas trees, lights, wreaths and decorations.
Also in mid-November, the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival concludes with the EPCOT International Holiday Festival.

The Best Weeks In 2021 To Visit Walt Disney World, Ranked In Order
Every month is magical at WDW, but December may be the most magical season. From Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (at the Magic Kingdom) to Sunset Season's Greetings (at Disney's Hollywood Studios), the amount of holiday spirit at WDW is just off the charts…so are the crowd levels at the end of the month. that's it!
