Queens College Academic Calendar Fall 2023 – Kenya's Ministry of Education has released the revised 2020-2023 semester dates for all primary and secondary schools. According to the new school calendar, all schools will be fully open on January 4, 2021. This applies to all other PP1 and 2; 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade; 5th, 6th and 7th grade; and 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students.

School Term Dates/ Calendar For 2020 To 2023

Check your finances at the SOLUS Student Center to make sure you're debt free. You can only register for courses once your loan is paid off.

The class schedule lists all classes offered in the fall and winter semesters with class meeting times. Not every course is listed in Arts and Sciences

All students are given an enrollment deadline to begin enrolling in classes. Enrollment dates are generated randomly according to your university level. The registration date cannot be changed.

Tip: If you don't have access to a computer at the start of your registration appointment, you can call us as soon as your appointment starts and we can help you. Or you can have a friend or family member access SOLUS and enroll in courses for you. Please note that your registration appointment cannot be changed.

Tip: Before exiting the shopping cart, be sure to click the Confirm button. It will be checked whether you meet the conditions (requirements, etc.) for the courses you have chosen. You can make changes to your classes during open enrollment. You can now be on two waiting lists. Note: Courses during the year cannot be on the waiting list.

Full Day Kinder Starting 2022 2023 School Year

Access student financial information in the Solos Student Center to view your tuition fees. Tuition and SLAs are due September 30 for your fall semester courses. Information on how to pay tuition fees can be found in the Office of the University Secretary.

The financial deadline is the deadline for withdrawing from a course and receiving full tuition reimbursement. If you leave a course after the financial deadline but before the academic deadline, you may be entitled to a partial refund of tuition fees. All refunds will be returned to your student account. Please note that international students are no longer required to pre-register with UHIP during this period. Your UHIP enrollment will be automatic based on your enrollment with Queen's, and the UHIP unit coverage fee will be credited directly to your SOLUS account. If you have dependents (spouse or children) with you in Ontario, you must visit the International Center to enroll those dependents in your UHIP plan within the first 30 days or face a $500 penalty.

You will see the deadline for shopping cart activation, as well as your enrollment deadline and open enrollment times when course applications are available for each student. Reserved seats are usually available during open enrollment.

How many courses can I take? We recommend that students take 15.0 units per semester, but students may add up to 18.0 units of coursework per semester. If you want to take more, please email asc.studentservices@ and explain why you want to take more than 18.0 units. We will consider this on a case-by-case basis.

I see that the course has places, but when I add it I get a message that I can't enroll because it's not available for my program/plan. why? We have reserved places on many courses for students who need them to complete or progress their plans. If you want to enroll in these courses, put yourself on the waiting list and as soon as the reserves are used up, you will be automatically admitted to the course if there are still places. These spaces will remain secure until July 27; After that, they are available to all students who meet the requirements for the subject(s).

Example: ECON 241 is reserved entirely for economics majors as they may require this course as a prerequisite for graduation. If you are eligible for this course but do not have a reservation, you may be placed on a waiting list and may enroll if places become available after the closing date of 26 July.

Is it an online undergraduate course? Some seats in these classes are reserved for online Arts and Sciences students until the first day of class.

How do I find courses offered online? Perform a search using the class search and registration function, then select the undergraduate online filter on the left.

If I'm on a one-year course, do the sessions have to be at the same time each semester? Yes, year-round courses must be taken at the same time each semester.

What do people mean when they say West Campus? Classrooms in Duncan MacArthur Hall are a 15-20 minute walk or short bus ride from the main campus. Many major lectures are held in Duncan MacArthur, but be careful not to schedule classes here directly with classes in other buildings. You won't make it until the start of the next class!
