For most kids, summer is a welcome departure that allows them to do almost anything they want for the next few months. However, for many children, the disadvantage of being out of school is that they miss school lunches. Sadly, there are many students who rely on the food they receive every day during the school year. Fortunately, the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) is able to continue providing these important meals throughout the summer for families in need.

EVSC recently released details of the 2022 summer meal program. More than a dozen EVSC schools will provide free breakfast and lunch each weekday. Meals are FREE for everyone under 18. Here's the most important thing to remember – you DO NOT have to be an EVSC student to get free meals, they are available to ANYONE 18 or younger.
