Kent State Academic Calendar Fall 2023 – Eligible students can apply for one of the nineteen (19) elective positions in the government for universities. Elected positions include one (1) president and eight (8) directors and ten (10) senators representing ten (10) academic colleges.

* Being a candidate and applying for a position at USG means that you have read and intend to participate in and adhere to the following schedule and expectations.

Day 21. Students can submit their applications at 8:00 am (online) to the selected office of USG. Candidates must apply through Google Forms to be included in the petition.

USG Training Week 15-19. Please keep this week open on your calendar for mandatory training. I am scheduled to be in Kent, Ohio for this week's meeting, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A full schedule will be available at the summer session on July 7. Conflicts arising from this week due to other student leadership positions or academic commitments must be referred to the USG President by January 1st.
